Who Is Actually Joining Jhūma?

Real patterns from Real conversations

What I keep hearing in every Meet and Greet

A dad came to his Meet and Greet with a folder of labs. Three years of them, ordered by three different offices, and not one person had ever sat down and told him what they meant. He apologized for bringing it.

Since I started doing Meet and Greets with families interested in joining the practice, I’ve noticed something. They come from different backgrounds, different seasons of life, different reasons for booking that first conversation. But almost every one of them has some version of that folder.

Tired of being rushed

Almost everyone who sits down with me tells the same story. A ten minute appointment that left them with more questions than answers. A doctor who never quite remembered their history. A referral placed instead of ten more minutes spent looking for the root cause. They aren’t asking for anything extravagant. They just want someone who has the time.

One doctor, not five

So many families I meet are juggling a pediatrician for the kids, their own primary care doctor, maybe an OB, a couple of specialists, and none of them talking to each other. What they want is simpler. One physician who knows the whole family and can connect the dots instead of starting from zero at every visit.

Heard, not diagnosed

A lot of the women I meet have been dismissed before, told their symptoms were just stress, or normal for their age. They aren’t coming to me expecting a magic answer. They want a doctor who will listen before deciding what counts as normal.

Their time matters too

Most of the families joining Jhūma are busy. Working parents, business owners, women running a household and a career at the same time. What draws them in isn’t luxury, it’s efficiency. Same day access, my number in their phone, no PTO day spent losing a whole afternoon for a five minute visit.

A doctor their kids will grow up with

Several parents have told me some version of the same thing. They want their children to have a doctor who remembers their personality, not just their chart. Someone still there years from now, watching them grow up.

If any of this sounds like what you’ve been longing for, that’s exactly why I built Jhūma the way I did. I built the practice I want for myself, for my parents and my grandparents, for my own children.
